Helen Thwaite is an author and reader of romance, whether it’s set on this world or another. Brought up on a steady diet of Doctor Who and Tolkien books, she loves the escapism of sci fi and fantasy, but her sisters’ Mills & Boons novels ensured that she also loves stories grounded in reality.
Trope-wise, you can’t go wrong with a good enemies-to-lovers story (yes, she is a closet Reylo) and she’s a particular liking for found families, kickass heroines, and cinnamon roll heroes.
Helen is an absolute nerd and when she’s not reading or writing, she can be found in the centre of Manchester, UK, leading a bunch of brave adventurers through dungeons and evading dragons. She also sings alto in a musical theatre choir, loves a bit of line dancing, and needs to get to the theatre more often.
