I fell in love with books as soon as I could read, and would devour anything put in front of me. My father had a collection of classics, and I read Shakespeare, The Hobbit before I was 10. Being bullied at school, I took refuge in the library, eventually becoming a librarian. I was there first thing, at lunch, and after school. I would have probably slept there, had I been allowed!
My love for books is an integral part of me, making up my identity as much as music and sci fi shows (I am a massive Whovian). I wanted to be Bella, not for the love of a prince, but for his glorious library. Having bookcases full of beautiful editions is still a dream I want to make into a reality.
